CROSS CONNECT CABLES

Cross connect cables are used to connect the following types of connections: workstation to workstation, workstation to server, hub to switch, switch to switch

2	Orange	Green

The only difference is the swapping of pairs 2 & 3 (white-orange & white-green). With T568A we use the white/green pair for transmit and the white/orange for receive. With T568B, we use the white/orange for transmit and the white/green for receive.

ROLLOVER CABLES

Rollover cables are used for the following types of connections: hubs to hubs

**	Except: When wiring the second end you can wire both ends the same , but on the second end you roll the RJ45 connection so the tab is pointing up (instead of the usual tab pointing down). This will make a complete opposite connection
