How to save to a floppy disk

 

1. First insert the 3.5” disk in the disk drive with metal circle pointing down and the metal sliding piece going first into the drive
2. When finished with your work press the save button
3. When you get the save as dialogue box where it says File name type over what is already highlighted words “a:” (remember that’s a: not a;) then type the name of the file.  For example a:george’s music
   
    
4. If you are still having trouble click the Save in dialogue box select 3 1/2 floppy (a:) as I have done below, then type a name for your file
5. Then press the Save button and close your program
6. You can now safely remove your floppy
